Home / Activities

The regular activities arranged by the Society include:

two programmes of lectures in Bristol and Churchdown (just off the A40 near Gloucester) between September and March;

the Annual General Meeting in the Spring, at which the outgoing President gives the address;

an Annual Symposium arranged by the Committee for Archaeology in Gloucestershire;

trips to local places of historical interest in the Spring and Autumn;

residential trips are arranged to places further afield in Britain and on the Continent

There are also many opportunities for members to become actively involved in the research and conservation work supported by the Society.

The more members we have, the more we can achieve.
