BGAS Symposium 2023: Archaeology in the Community

default

Join the Bristol and Gloucestershire Archaeological Society on November 18th for a day of lectures that explore community archaeology and local sites.

The Bristol and Gloucestershire Archaeological Society Symposium is an annual event that promotes the latest discoveries in local archaeology. This year’s event is supported by Cotswold Archaeology and hosted by M Shed.

Throughout the day, expert speakers will share how communities have been involved in investigating an exciting range of archaeological sites covering everything from the prehistoric to the Civil War. There will also be a chance to explore archaeological stalls promoting the work of local groups during the break.

This is a hybrid event that will be run at M Shed and be live-streamed via Zoom. Please select whether you require an ‘online’ or an ‘in-person’ ticket when you book.
